Rocket Piano
After hearing so many good reviews about ‘The Rocket Piano’ course, and after reading through it and thoroughly testing out the whole thing
myself, I feel that I should recommend it to the ukpianos.co.uk community. I know there are lots of you out there that want to either learn the
piano from scratch, or re-learn the basics. I have to say that it is the best online piano course I have ever seen and give it my full backing -

At the moment, I am receiving on the internet a free newsletter every 3 or 4 days from a tutor named Duane, highlighting piano chords.Although
I am impressed by these tutorials, I am rather confused because there are so many courses available, Which one do I spend my good
money on?
An independent reviewer on the internet suggests that the best course by far is ' Mr Ron', followed by Rocket Piano and Duane. Please help!!!
I will keep in touch.

Reply/ Hi Peter
Mr. Ron and Duane base their learning mostly on chords and
playing by ear.
This is OK, but...
I'm a believer in learning to play piano the traditional way FIRST.
Chords and playing by ear can be tackled later when you
have a better understanding of music theory.
For this reason I recommend The Rocket Piano by Ruth Searle.
When you have mastered everything in the Rocket Piano,
you can then start looking at chords and playing by ear.
You will be a much better player if you learn this way.

Graham Howard
