I have been teaching the piano for 21 years it is my full time job and I love it. I enjoy teaching young beginners and have run pre-school
music classes. I currently have a waiting list for evening and weekend lessons but I have time during the day when my children are at
school and so welcome adult learners who can have lessons then.

Christian Windsor
Hi my name is Christian Windsor and I am a young piano teacher from Bury. I
teach from ages 5 - 14 and will teach the students songs that they will like to play. If they don't want to take exams then they don't have
to and if they want to learn modern popular songs that could be out in the charts then I'll teach them that. I will give enjoyable lessons
and only charge £5 per half hour lesson. Please get back to me, thanks.

If you live in the New Forest/Wessex area of Hampshire this could be
the music teaching service for you. Areas covered include Milford-On-
Sea, Keyhaven, Downton, Lymore, Everton, Lymington, New Milton, Norley
Wood and Highcliffe but pupils outside of this area are invited to
contact me to see if arrangements for lessons can be made. I teach a
number of musical instruments including:
Pianoforte, Keyboard, Organ, Guitar, Violin, Viola, Recorder, Fife,
Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Accordion, Harmonica and theory of music.
If I have not listed the instrument you want to play then do not be
disappointed as if you contact me I may be able to help!
Many of my pupils take Associated Board Of The Royal Schools Of Music
practical and theory examinations. Grade 6 upwards of practical and/or
theory gives pupils UCAS points towards university places.
Schools Music Teaching Service
I am currently on the supply list for Hampshire and Dorset Education
Authorities. The Music Peripitetic Service in both counties also hold
my curriculum vitae (Hampshire and Dorset). This means that I hold a
current CRB check for schools work.
Musical Arrangements
I often find that when leading groups of musicians there are never the
right arrangements for your particular combination of instruments or
ability level. Those of you interested in playing with others may be interested to
know that the Innovation Trust are looking for young people of 18 to 25
to create their own bands. There is also a Rock School on the Isle of
Wight held each year.
Musical Accompanist
I have experience in accompanying players for performances and
examinations. Please also contact me if you need musicians to join
groups, bands, orchestras etc.
Questions
Hi Howard
Thanks for your support and confidence boost , but I'm well aware of my
limitations . I have actually managed to play the opening of Fur Elise ( not the hard bit , just the opening ) yet I still can't read a note. I
learnt it by watching a guy teaching "how to" on you tube .
I don't feel I'd ever have got that far by trying to sight read and play it . I know this is all wrong , but I'm not a spring chicken anymore ,
and I don't have a spare 20 years of practice left .
What more can I do Howard ??? Andy
Relpy/ Hi Andy
YouTube is great for learning the basics. But, after that, you really need to learn how to read
music.
Try to follow my free piano course as best you can. The follow up to that is the
Rocket Piano course by Ruthe Searle ... It's very good.
Yours pianistically,

Further comments/
Yes I know I should learn to read music , but my tired old brain cells struggle with anything new LoL .
There is a good teaching book comprising four smaller books in my local music store , I may look at it today .
If I were young I wouldn't hesitate , but as I said , I don't have 20 years of study and practice left to spare ,
so I suppose I'm grabbing at all the shortcuts I can find . . I'll maybe give your course another go too .
I actually have a 76 key Yamaha NP 30 , and I just love it to bits . There are no tricks or gimmicks
or drum machines on it , it only really plays grand piano and some voices , but that's all I wanted.
I must say though , I never dreamt I would ever manage to play Fur Elise
( at least the opening , albeit very jerky ) so anything's possible I suppose .
I thought just like that when I first tried to play Streets of London on guitar 20 years ago . Now I play it
almost as well as Ralph McTell . I hope the piano doesn't take as long Lol
Cheers for now Graham
Andy
