I carry out Tuning, repairs & restoration ie: Hammer refacing, voicing, to major repairs complete re-stringing.
I have been in the piano industry since leaving school, over 35 years. Trained with an old and at the time a well respected firm in Newcastle upon Tyne ( Alderson & Brentnall Ltd.) I was with them until they closed down in 1981. And so have been tuning full time on my own since then,( 26 years ). The areas I cover are all of Northumberland, Tyneside, Durham. Main areas are Tyne & Wear and Durham.
