Question/ Please could you advise me on the best quality portable digital pianos available. The instrument must be portable for taking to concerts, and be of the best possible quality for use in CD recordings, and also have midi facility. I have used the Roland FP5 on occasions, but wonder if there is anything with better quality sound available. Please also advise on price and necessary extras to accompany each product.
Answer/ I recommend either the Roland RD300SX or RD700SX. They are both ideal for transporting to gigs and have everything you require. If you would like to try out the RD300SX please call UK Pianos on 020 8367 2080.
Question/ Hi Graham, Thank you for your recent message, I found it very informative. I don't know if you offer any information or advice about purchasing second hand items. For some time I have been looking for a Yamaha P80 or similar. I need something portable and I like the sound of the P80. I know there are various sellers on E-bay but I am reluctant to purchase before trying the instrument for myself. Unfortunately the P80 is no longer made and had been superseded by later models however, it's specifications appeal.
Alternatively do you have any recommendations on this subject.
Regards,
Malcolm Williams
Answer/ The Yamaha P80 was a very popular stage piano, it was superseded by the P90. I believe you require an amplifier to produce the sound on the P80 though. If you want a portable digital piano then I recommend the Roland RD300SX or the Roland RD700SX. The 700SX is quite pricey though - but definitely worth the extra money.

Question/ Hello, I came across your site on the web. Do you have a yamaha P250 for sale, and if so how much? Cheers
Answer/ We don't have that model in at the moment. We do have a secondhand Roland RD700 though, if you are down London way, it would be worth checking out
Comment/ Thanks for that, Dont like the Rolands much, but thanks for the thought .Would be interested in a Kawai MP4, or ES4, a promega 2 or a gem prp800, could you keep this in mind. Thanks very much Nick
