Red Griffin Records Ltd.

Red Griffin Records Ltd (Company number 5858176) is a newly incorporated
independent record label primarily focusing on the un-discovered musical
talent in Enfield, North London. Just to give you an initial briefing Red

Griffin plans to sign artists to our label and generate an income through

physical and digital sales via major and independent retailers.

We have primarily set-up this venture to scout and promote young, local

talent and put them on the map with an official release that we intend to

get into the official charts and give other labels a run for their money.

However, the true purpose of this label is to initially help talented

artists that would otherwise not be able to release material and to help

establish our Town as a local area that produces great artistic talent and

be recognized across the country (and hopefully globally for this reason).

For our first release we plan to compile, produce and promote a compilation

of all the un-discovered and unsigned talent specifically in Enfield for

which we have found there to be a huge market as well some of the country's

finest talent to rival the likes of the Arctic Monkeys.

As well as planning to record, produce and compile material on behalf of our

artists, we are currently researching potential venues to help develop a

general music scene in Enfield.

Due to the closure of local venues like The Townhouse and Eros, and the

restrictions of music licences (e.g. From the Hop Poles) local bands are

finding it increasingly difficult to play the Enfield Gig circuit; which we

have found there to be an overwhelming demand amongst our local youth, who

want to see their town grow and develop into a thriving music scene and

establish some relevant culture for the future of our town.

We aim to market and more accurately introduce the arts into to our district

as well as intend to get heavily involved in organizing local events

specifically focusing on music appealing to our local youth culture. We have

inquired to the Millfield Theatre and have spoken to a representative from

the Enfield Arts department regarding the old Bingo Hall (behind the new

Starbucks in Enfield Town) which Red Griffin will intend to appeal for

sponsorship and renovate to produce a professional venue for artists to

perform. Another advantage to this project would be to attract some top

national and international artists to Enfield creating revenue for other

small (and larger) run Enfield businesses. A petition will be circulating in

the near future to help appeal for this funding.

Dean Sharp who writes the Music Column in the Enfield Advertiser is also

heavily involved in this project and at this present moment we are trying to

find the means to fund and research potential sponsors ourselves.

The purpose of this email is to inquire as to whether our local council

would initially want to support or get involved in any way, helping Red

Griffin Records by any means; intending to renovate the Enfield Music Scene

and to help promote our local arts. Enfield Town is under massive

construction at the moment with the erection of the new shopping development

in Town and we feel this is our perfect opportunity to get cracking and

support the renovations of our home town.

Any information you could possibly offer us in regards to funding and

sponsorship for the above would be most greatly appreciated.

We anticipate and look forward to your reply.

Kind Regards

Carly Twyne
