The Yamaha YDP140 digital piano has a Grand Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard action and an all-new, highly attractive dark rosewood grain
finish. A padded bench is standard and it also includes a wood music rest, sliding key cover, pedal frame with three piano-style pedals and a
modesty panel.
The Yamaha YDP140 also features duet-friendly twin headphone jacks, a choice of six voices, and a high-efficiency 6W x 2 stereo amplifier for
the two internal speakers, and four types of reverb.
With onboard, single-song recording capabilities, the new YDP140 Arius piano captures note-for-note performances as a rehearsal tool or as a
quick and easy musical scratch pad. The built-in "50 Greats for the Piano" songs will fill your home with music – whether or not there's someone
sitting at the bench. Because both instruments include 64 Voice polyphony and MIDI connectivity, they can also be used for song archiving and
score notation when connected to a home computer.

Reviews
Hi, I bought the Yamaha YDP 140. Partly because it ranked highly in your
£500-600 range and then I spoke to a few big dealers and they agreed it was
a very good piano for beginners and intermediates. I ended up buying from
Umbrella, as they had a really good deal on at the time. I bought online
without even trying it (based on your recommendations and tips, which were
EXCEEDINGLY helpful). I am amazed at how realistic it sounds, even if it
does sound like I'm playing with my elbows at this point in time! The keys
are nicely weighted too. Thanks for all your help - it saved me making a
disastrous purchase.
