The Yamaha YDP160 digital piano features ultra-responsive Yamaha Graded Hammer Effect (GHE) keyboard action. The YDP160 has a beautiful Dark
Rosewood cabinet, already a hit on the YDP223, and a premium bench perfectly matches the instrument's Rosewood finish. It also includes a wood
music rest, sliding key cover, pedal frame with three piano-style pedals and a modesty panel.
Other features include duet-friendly twin headphone jacks, 20W x 2 stereo power amplifier for plenty of power to play loud and clear in even
the largest of rooms, and four types of reverb capable of making a small room sound as big as a concert hall.
With onboard, single-song recording capabilities, the new Yamaha YDP160 (Arius) digital piano captures note-for-note performances as a
rehearsal tool or as a quick and easy musical scratch pad. The built-in "50 Greats for the Piano" songs will fill your home with music – whether
or not there's someone sitting at the bench. Because the YDP160 includes 64 Voice polyphony and MIDI connectivity, it can also be used for song
archiving and score notation when connected to a home computer. The YDP160 includes ten different Voices ranging from Grand Piano to
Vibraphone.

Reviews
I bought the Yamaha YDP160 because of the advice in your piano guide,
it was the closest feel to a real piano in my price range.
I bought it from the Sam Ash store in New York. The salesman in Sam Ash also
confirmed that it was the best digital piano to go for in that price range
if what I was looking for was something as close to a real piano as
possible.
The piano is perfect for me. It has a nice simple look, sounds terrific and
the weighted keys make it feel like I'm playing the real thing. I really
like that it responds to how hard or soft I press the keys.
I love the headphone facility, it means I can practice while my husband
is watching tv without either of us disturbing each other!
Kind regards, Navida, New York, USA
