Dear Graham,
Thank you for taking the time to e.mail me. It was very unexpected and, as you’re about to find out, extremely welcome.
First, some feedback. I’ve read through your booklet only once so far and will be re-reading it quite a few times more. I think that it is an excellent booklet and full of just the type of information we need. I was enthralled by the wealth of information and was more and more fascinated as I delved into it. I’ve already sung your praises to a couple of people I work with and, once I’ve re-read it some more times, will no doubt be singing them even more.

hello I really should have read your digital piano guide first, unfortunately I went by online demo’s and reviews and went and got a Casio CDP120 at the time it was all I could afford, the sound is not to bad but the 4 notes from B4 to D5 have more of an electric piano sound to them which gets very annoying the keys action not to bad but the build quality leave much to be desired, the keys have very uneven spacing and some have little bits of plastic on the side of the key left over from the moulding process which made a loud clicking sound, people MUST make the effort and go and listen and play a piano preferably to your shop some time ago I got a m-audio piece of rubbish from Thomann I sent it back the next day oh well you live and learn. and thanks for a great guide

Hi Graham.
Thanks for your guide. It enlightened the terminology of digital pianos to me, making it a little bit easier to make an “educated selection” of one, if we choose to purchase one.

Hi dear friend, thanks very much for your book; its useful very much for me because I’m piano teacher, and I see you’ve done a great work.
On my work, I use overall acoustic piano, but digital pianos have their own advantages as their lower price, easier transport than acoustics and the possibility to play in the nigth without disturbing neighbours.
Thanks very much again for your work and your kindness.
Salutations from Spain. Rafael

I had piano lessons as a 10 year old,I then turned to football so gave the lessons up.
I am now in my late 80 s and using a 61 key keyboard to learn again.
I am not quite happy with the piano sound on the keyboard, so I am looking to buy a digital piano around the 4 to 500 mark, it looks like your advice is for me.
thank you, Harry.
