Dear Graham,
Thanks hugely for the free downloadable guide – I’ve learnt more in an hour of reading that than I could have done in a week of piano showroom sales chats!

Hi Graham,
Thanks for all the emails and info, I think your site and service are great.
Your piano buyer’s guide is absolutely spot on, it really wades through the waffle, especially for someone (like me) who is an absolute beginner and has no clue about pianos.

Hello Graham,
here is some feedback concerning the digital piano buyer’s guide I downloaded from your site the other day.
Although most of the items you talked about I already knew,it was very interesting to read in a condensed form al the questions one should ask himself before buying a digital piano.More specifically things you said about dynamic levels, polyphony and gadgets you get when buying one which are not thà t essential will be very revealing for someone who wants to buy one, specially for those who are not so familiar in the word of musical instruments

Dear Howard,
many thanks for your guide. It was useful having this information gathered together. I found particularly helpful the comments on how important a feature is. I also found the guide not deterministic; this allowed me to form my own opinion and encouraged me to go over and play a few pianos at the shop, having already some in mind based on the advice from the guide. Much appreciated,
Nikolas

Hello Graham
Thank you so much for having seen your course. It has been intresting and I suppose it is a good start for beginners. But I would like to emphasize that the correct tone producing is utmost important. In my opinion it really pays off to train the correct hand position and the way the fingers play each key. It need a good teacher.
I am not a beginner but was curious to see your course. I am 72 years old and have been playing piano since I was 9. I focus mainly on the classical litterature but circumstances have done that I have been playing with different big bands for 21 years and performed many places in Copenhagen and surroundings, and I still perform when asked. Privately I play classical piano trios with violin and cello. Also duo with a very good flutist.
I have a grand piano (Hornung & Moller) Danish manufacture and a digital piano (Technics) connected to my computer.

“Unbelievably good research”
Very well-presented and generously made freely available to the public!
How practical would it be for me to order a top-end digital piano from your company rather than from an Irish shop (I live in West Ireland)?
I like the idea of buying off yourselves, in thanks for the honest, ethical, helpful guides you have made freely available.

Maire

“Super insightful and informative”
Hello Graham,
Thank you so much for an very up to date book on how to buy a digital piano! Super insightful and informative, surprising in realizing what I didn’t know while also surprising in what I thought was important but wasn’t,
and equally helpful was giving me the tools to feel comfortable meeting a commissioned-based sales person head on.
The fact that the book is free… incredible!
Yours in Music,
Rob

Hello Graham!
I found your book very useful! I have down loaded it onto my I Pad to have it available where-ever I go. I am frequently involved in Churches in our local communities here in South Africa.
I encounter on many occasions individuals who wants to obtain especially digital pianos but they do not really know what they are looking for. This write-up is a wonderful aid.
I have already put it to use to explain (and have written proof!) of the principals.
A pity that you are in the UK and we are in South Africa. It would be nice to obtain our pianos from you!
Never the less, thank you again. Your book is VERY comprehensive !
Regards

I had piano lessons as a 10 year old,I then turned to football so gave the lessons up.
I am now in my late 80 s and using a 61 key keyboard to learn again.
I am not quite happy with the piano sound on the keyboard, so I am looking to buy a digital piano around the 4 to 500 mark, it looks like your advice is for me.
thank you, Harry.
