“The information proved invaluable”
I had no experience of pianos whatsoever, i looked on the internet for piano reviews,
and found graham howards website, uk pianos, i never expected to find so much
information on one site, the information provided made my mind up on which piano
to buy, i could have bought a piano without this advice, but i wouldn’t have felt i was
getting perhaps the right piano for my needs, for me personally, this information has proved invaluable, and i couldn’t be happier.

I had an informative and friendly chat that helped my decision with my piano-frustrated wife’s birthday present. Good to have my inept description listened to/deciphered/absorbed and then get given impartial (mostly) advice. Would recommend highly.

“Which piano to buy? Look no further …. “7 Things You MUST Know Before You Buy a Digital Piano”
Speaking as a parent of 2 daughters who are progressing through their piano gradings, I had no idea which piano/keyboard to buy for our home. I came across the name Graham Howard via online search engine. Graham’s expertise in this field made the task so much easier, explaining piano terminology and breaking down the options into eg. brand popularity, budget, value for money, pros, cons, all the things that the average person needs to consider to make their decision. Graham’s easy-to-understand document is a joy to read and I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new or used piano.
Thanks again Graham.

“Good Samaritan”
Graham Howard of UK Pianos is from that rare breed of gentle people who are passionate about what they do, and freely , I stress freely gives advice to anyone, regardless of whether you are purchasing an instrument from UK pianos or not. Graham takes the time to reply to every email usually the same day or the very next day.
To illustrate, I saw two ex-display models online from other vendors, and emailed Graham for advice ….(a bit cheeky I know)…….without hesitation he immediately advised me on which one to purchase and what to look out for if it was a customer return.
Unbelievable! which shop or salesperson would take the time to do that knowing they will not make the sale?
None that I know of only Graham Howard of UK Pianos many thanks Graham God Bless.
Your sincerely

Dear Graham,
I felt that your analysis, comparisons and suggestions were comprehensive, impartial and very helpful – particularly in my case where trying out a variety of digital pianos would involve t least 200 miles travelling and probably 2 or 3 days away.
In effect, I felt confident that you had done the shortlisting for me….at which point the local Starland Music brought the Technics back to reliable functioning.
I still appreciate your helpfulness.
Yours sincerely….John Sterry

This site is an excellent way to research a full range of pianos and keyboards. I used it to produce a shortlist of pianos I was interested in before trying them out in nearby shops. The information is well presented and shows exactly what you need to be looking for in an electric piano. An essential reference website.

“Competent, passionate about pianos, friendly, should be your first choice”
Well, you can see for them is not only their job, it’s their passion as well ! They know their stuff, they give you good advice, even their little guide for free, and they are always willing to try helping out. And in some cases, they can even arrange for you to pay by monthly instalments, so it’s more affordable, and if you are in UK, a rent-to-buy scheme – basically, they can cover any kind of need. And if they give you advice, it’s not about trying to sell you always the most expensive solution – if they think it’s better for you, they will propose you a cheaper solution, even if it’s not in their financial interest.

“Great guidance to make the right decision”
I was attracted to Graham’s website because of the fantastic buying guide that enabled me as a non piano playing parent make the right buying decision. Once I knew the specification it was easy to select the right piano from a very extensive selection at the right price.
Once we had decided to buy the piano, it arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble. Many happy playing hours later….

“Top advice for confused piano buyers”
Graham promotes his pianos on the basis of a customer’s need, about which he is very sensitive, rather than pushing the most expensive pianos at you. His enthusiasm is infectious, his knowledge extensive and he clearly loves pianos – heart and soul.

“helpful, informative and”
The web site was a great help in working out what we wanted and why – for our purchase of a digital piano. As a complete music ignoramus – we wanted a piano for our 10 year old daughter to continue her lessons – the site and Howards book and scoring, with the explanations was really helpful. We later had a problem with the piano that Howard helped to resolve. Thanks again

“Howard had been a wonderful help in helping us buying a piano for our grandchildren”
Even though we live in Canada and Howard could not sell us a piano (climate difference) he assisted us to the end deciding what piano to buy. My grandson is now taking lessons and his little sister is using it too. I have no idea about pianos and I appreciate his enthusiasm and wonderful advice.

Having decided I had to have a new piano for Christmas, I rang Graham at UK pianos, got excellent advice, and they delivered the next day (two days before Christmas)! Really pleased with the piano, it’s exactly what I needed within my budget.

Graham,
Thanks again for your advice. I don’t have a Facebook account. The main things I liked from your book were where you mentioned features in a lot of digital pianos that were not really important to have. That’s helps since you can eliminate comparing these items and also maybe not purchase a feature that has little or no merit.

“UK Pianos is a firm that potential customers will be at ease with and enjoy dealing with”
What I have found so refreshing and useful about my contact with Graham Howard at UK Pianos is that, despite no imminent sale in prospect [and I have been open and honest about this], Graham has kept me informed of the various types of instrument that are available and, without being pushy, has informed me and my daughter of the pros and cons of each type of instrument. Certainly, UK Pianos is a firm that potential customers will be at ease with and enjoy dealing with. As a complete novice in this area, I feel that I will, in the very near future, become a customer and that I will enter into this arrangement with complete confidence because I know that the advice I will be given will be sound and tailored to my needs.

“Don’t buy until you read it!”
Graham Howard’s Piano Guide is an unbiased invaluable resource, don’t buy until you read it!
UK Pianos has a terrific selection of pianos at very reasonable prices. I am still trying to decide between the Yamaha CLP440, Kawai CA65 and Roland HP505 and without the help of the Piano Guide I would not have even made a shortlist. Hopefully I will have settled on one soon.
I would happily recommend UK Pianos for pre-sale advice and maybe soon will comment on my purchase too.
Kind regards

Dear Graham,
I would just like to thank you very much for helping us decide which piano we needed to buy for our Golf Club in
Southern Ireland. Non of us are good musicians and we needed something Digital , small but easy to play.
The information in your book is extremely clear and easy to understand. We decided after exploring all the information, that a Roland RP301 R would be ideal for our purpose and a new one is on it’s way to us.
Thank you very much for your help.

The information supplied in your research document about the various makes and models of digital pianos was invaluable to us in our decision process. It led us to exactly the right conclusion for our needs and wants.
I had visited a piano shop near Tottenham Court Road earlier to get some idea of the choices available, but I did not find the staff very accommodating or helpful. So, when it came to actually making a purchase, UK Pianos was the logical choice.
Thank you for your help in advance and in the shop.

I had piano lessons as a 10 year old,I then turned to football so gave the lessons up.
I am now in my late 80 s and using a 61 key keyboard to learn again.
I am not quite happy with the piano sound on the keyboard, so I am looking to buy a digital piano around the 4 to 500 mark, it looks like your advice is for me.
thank you, Harry.
