“thank you very much and let me tell you that I don`t know many people sharing their best experience and knowledge with public like you”
Dear Graham,
you are right, I downloaded the book and whatever it contains is very precise and understandable even for me.
I have read it briefly, I found out that it answers all my questions I had before and I learnt a lot. Another looks into the book and I will be very educated buyer. Thank to you.
Just now it is not the right time for me to buy the piano and even if it comes I will try not to bother you with requests for your advice.
I think Yamaha lines are very good and they are a leader of the market. Even not knowing the facts you wrote I would probably go after Yamaha.
So again, thank you very much and let me tell you that I don`t know many people sharing their best experience and knowledge with public like you.
All the best

“I am grateful for the good sense you have put together in you book and made available to humanity. Like Mark Shuttleworth and his Ubuntu form of Linux”
Good Morning Graham,
I downloaded your excellent book, carefully read it, then hied myself down to a piano store armed with my Grabo headphones and with several of the pages printed to remind me of some of your suggestions. I played on several models of the Yamaha and liked the touch, feel and sound of the Clavinova 320. I am next going to try some of the Rolands and lastly the Kawai.. The store of the latter is in Mobile, Alabama, not really that far from our home here in Pensacola, Florida.
I am grateful for the good sense you have put together in you book and made available to humanity. Like Mark Shuttleworth and his Ubuntu form of Linux.
Sincerely,
D.E. Rock, MD
“This is a fantastic resource and will no doubt help me to make the right choice of digital piano”
Hi Graham,
I have received your book with thanks. I have to say Graham that this is a fantastic resource and will no doubt help me to make the right choice of digital piano. I have noticed how some of the cheaper models look great but I am sure that all that glitters is not gold.
I have always wanted to learn the Piano, and am inspired by the great singer/songwriters especially the likes of Elton John, Billy Joel etc.
One of my favourite songs is Jessie by Joshua Kaddison. That will be my first target once I pick up the basics.
I have enormous admiration for all those who have mastered this wonderful instrument and thank you once again for your amazingly helpful website.
Best Wishes
Jeff
“Very seldom have I come across such an impartial view that has been written so very well”
Graham,
Your book has been very insightful. My 6 yr old daughter is having lessons and up to now has been practising on a Yamaha 66 key keyboard. I thought the time was right for us to upgrade to a digital piano ( because of restrictions on space ). I think Yamaha is the way to go for us and I was thinking of the CLP 340 however after reading your report I think the CLP 330 would be o/k. Very seldom have I come across such an impartial view that has been written so very well.
Once again Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Greg waterson
“Your book gave me a lot of information I didn’t even know that I didn’t know!”
I found your book really useful as it gave me a lot of information I didn’t even know that I didn’t know!
I have suddenly got the urge to learn to play the piano – I bought a Casio keyboard many years ago and I have never done much more than “chopsticks” on it. I have found a piano teacher and I am going to sign up for 10 weeks beginners tuition.
If I stick with it for that long, with a proper amount of practice, I will then treat myself to a proper electric piano.
My goal is to be able to play some Christmas carols, Happy Birthday etc by this time next year.

“Thanks for your very gracious response. Your company should go into business – teaching many far larger companies the true meaning of ‘customer care’.”

“You were our compass showing us where to go”
After Reading your book, I can consider myself ‘master of digital piano’ without knowing how to play. But you were our compass showing to us where we should go to and look at.
Once again, I praise your work. Well done!

“So far, after looking at your ukpianos site I’m convinced by Yamaha”
Hi Graham,
Many thanks for the piano book download. I am looking to purchase my first digital piano and the information for a novice buyer like myself is invaluable. So far, after looking at your ukpianos site I’m convinced by Yamaha and I am looking at the selling section on your site as well as ebay etc.
Thanks once again, Carry
“Your book contains valuable info re evaluating the various features and characteristics of digital pianos”
Thanks so much Graham for the book. It does contain valuable info re evaluating the various features and characteristics of the digital pianos available. I am considering purchase of either a Yamaha or a Roland (a model of which I currently own) and at the moment I am leaning toward a Yamaha probably because parts are more easily obtainable.

“Finally a document that is usefull instead of the hundreds that only copy the flyers of the companies that manufacture digital piano’s”
Dear Graham,
I have read your articles concerning various digital piano’s with interest and pleasure. Finally a document that is usefull instead of the hundreds that only copy the flyers of the companies that manufacture digital piano’s.
Chapeau (as the French say)! Petr
“The book is excellent, clear and concise, answering all my questions”
Graham,
Thank you again for both the book and advice, I think we are going to stick with the keyboard rather than the digital piano, it holds more attraction to our son having all the extra sounds and effects and at least offers some weighting in the keys.
The book is excellent, clear and concise, answering all my questions.
I would like to think that we will purchase a real piano at some point and UK pianos will certainly be the first port of call.
Very best wishes for a happy and successful 2010
Max

I’m thinking about a digital piano for the kids and i have no idea where to start. Any help appreciated.

I had piano lessons as a 10 year old,I then turned to football so gave the lessons up.
I am now in my late 80 s and using a 61 key keyboard to learn again.
I am not quite happy with the piano sound on the keyboard, so I am looking to buy a digital piano around the 4 to 500 mark, it looks like your advice is for me.
thank you, Harry.
