I found your book very informative – thank you. At present I have a Casio WK 500 with which I am struggling. I am an ex-piano accordion player of about 45 years ago but can’t hold one now. I am quite good on the right hand (apart from the extra stretch involved) but I’m still playing “catch-up” with the left hand.

However, I am trying to move away from all the fancy tones, rhythms etc onto plain piano with maybe a few other tones like organ. So I am doing some research now to prepare for when I’ll be ready (and can afford) to buy a proper digital piano.
I shall keep an eye on your website.

I am planning to change my old traditional piano to a digital one and your book really told us a lot of hints and tips.
The traditional piano is out of tune and as soon as the piano tuner leaves home and departs with £50, the piano starts to be out of tune again! It is a lost cause!

So we think is time for an electric one.

Thanks a lot for the very useful book. One concern I have is about resonance, it is so important to me that I sometimes think I would prefer (to some extent) an out-of-tune acoustic piano to the digital ones I tried.

Prices vary a lot from the 320 to the 380 and I find it difficult to see what the differences are … certainly the information provided by Yamaha themselves is not very helpful.
