Thank you for all the very useful information I found on your web site. It allowed us to make a more informed decision on which digital piano would be best for our son. We ordered the broadway b2 and it was delivered within a few days . It is now hidden away waiting for Christmas.

“Very reasonable piano for our pocket and needs”

I wanted an electric piano that was not too expensive, could be played by my grandchildren as they practiced for levels 1 to 3 and also to be used by wife who just wanted to continue playing in a low key way but she wanted something that felt like a real piano.

I tried initially to find a good second hand model but had no success. I came across the ukpianos website and found loads of useful information including the ‘Howard Score’. Based on this and a helpful phone conversation with with the firm, I chose the Broadway B2.

I had lots of reservations, I wasn’t sure how they dealt with problems etc.

The piano arrived soon after ordering. It was one heavy package that the delivery man needed some help with. 2 packages would make it easier. Assembly was straight forward and the finished piano looked very smart. We were also very happy with the action and sounds, not fantastic, but good value for the money.

Unfortunately one of the keys was not working. A phone call to the company and we were told a piano engineer would be in touch. As the piano could still be played it wasn’t an emergency. Another phone call gave some reassurance that an engineer would ring soon. He eventually did. The reason for the delay was he had to travel a long way and tried to get as many calls as possible in one area – I understand this. It was soon fixed and I was impressed with the way he gave the whole thing a look over to make sure everything else was ok. It was most enjoyable listening to him play and it gave us confidence in our choice of piano.

To sum up:
There was very good information and service from ukpianos
The delivery package is very heavy – make sure you have some help at hand
The Broadway B2 in black satin is a good looking, very reasonable piano for our pocket and needs
We have confidence in their after sales service, which might not be fast but is very good.
