I’ve been doing more research on the Internet. I think you’re quite right about the better quality of the Yamaha and Roland products over those from Casio.
It seems that the reviews on the azpianonews.com web site are not as impartial as they pretend to be. Many of the “impartial” reviews end with a suggestion that a Casio product, usually a PX 780, would be better value than the product under review – their Roland RP301R review ends that way.

However, I found a comment on another site that the man who writes all the reviews on az piano news actually has a Casio dealership. Still, it would be unfair to exclude Casio just because of that.
