6 foot long, 88 keys

6 foot Grand piano by Chappell, Made in England, frame number 56563, completely refurbished with new action and strings in early 2006 by professionals in Westbury Wiltshire (All instruments). The case was re-finished and newly french polished at the same time – no stains or scratches but with inconspicuous marks on one corner. Tuned to concert pitch and lovely to play. Keeps in tune much better than my previous (new) upright. Owner moving to Portugal to be with grandchildren

Condition first class, original features, unmarked keyboard, sturdy legs/wheels, una corda and sustain pedals work well. Looks almost like new!

The piano was originally built about ninety years ago

The case is a lovely medium brown wood veneer, french polished and with the maker’s mark. The ornate frame is newly gold painted.
