Hi Graham,

Just a short message to say thank you. Having deciding to purchase a
piano, I thought the easy part would be the buying, but I must admit I was
getting lost with the tech jargon. The information obtained from your site
was very helpful in explaining what I should be looking for and helping me
to choose a piano. I am pleased to say that I did follow your advice and
purchased a Yamaha Arius 161( from Gear4 Music as they were also recommended
on your site). I must say the service from them was first class ( delivered
on time etc) and the piano ticks all the right boxes for me.

“I bought a Yamaha Arius YDP 161 from Gear4music. I am delighted with the piano and also with the service I received from Gear4music. I also bought a piano stool from them. They initially promised delivery on Tuesday 2nd November but on the Sunday before I received an email saying delivery was delayed. I phoned them at 9.00am Monday morning to be told they were out of piano stools but had the piano. They offered to split the order and dispatch the piano that morning. It arrived Tuesday morning. In the evening an ex music teacher  friend visited who tried the piano and thought it was excellent with a beautiful tone. The piano stool arrived on the Thursday morning.

An excellent product with first class delivery service.

Why did I buy the Yamaha? I am a complete beginner and read your publication “7 things you must know before you buy a digital piano”. I chose based on specification, looks and price.”

“We have ended up with a Yamaha Arius YDP141 – Looks weren’t crucial as it’s living upstairs but the overall look and feel is very good we chose the dark rosewood.  It doesn’t have as many ‘gadget’ features  has a much better piano feel to it – the children have their lessons on a baby grand and it compares favourably for a medium priced instrument.  Gear4music customer service is A1!”
