Your digital piano guide was extremely useful, thank you. In fact more than that, I learned a lot from it, and now feel quite the expert apart from the fact I can’t play to save my life – I’m a guitar player and have been for years. Never could master the piano though.

My daughter has had a yamaha keyboard since she was very young – basic model. Now she’s 23, teaches and is also a vocal coach.

I ended up with the gear 4 music DP60. It matched the price bracket and what I think she’s after.

It’s been delivered and I’ve tested it out (in my very limited way) before daughter comes up from Portsmouth for Xmas. The piano sounds fantastic, is built like a tank and seems to do everything it says on the tin. Sure it might be a bit awkward to transport it back to her place when xmas is over but I’ve got a vehicle that can do it.

I think it will be a good starting point for her as a quality entry level instrument. Give it a couple of years and see how her business progresses, number of students etc and we’ll get her something of more quality.

Thanks again, couldn’t have made the choice without your book, that’s for absolute sure.
