How The Rent-To-Own Programme Works
The particular advantage of the ‘Rent-To-Own’ programme is that it allows you immediate access to a good quality piano for a small monthly payment, without a big initial outlay. This means that you’re able to try out the piano before committing. Once you’ve passed the minimum rental period you can continue renting for as long as you wish. You can buy the piano you’re hiring at any time. If your piano needs any repairs whilst on rental a technician will come out to fix the problem free of charge.
If you decide to buy your rental piano within the first 6 months (12 months for acoustic grands), all the rental you’ve paid will be taken off the original price of the piano.
Piano rental costs range from £30-£249 per month.
New digital pianos from £35 per month
Second hand digital pianos from £30 per month
Second hand upright pianos from £30 per month
Grand pianos from £75 per month
You can get more information on the ‘Rent-To-Own’ programme by calling: 020 8367 5107 or by sending an email to: admin@ukpianos.co.uk

Questions
Q/ I’m looking for a digital piano for an awkward space in my house. It has a radiator so acoustic is a big nope.
I’d like to try renting for a while to see if I actually play it (haven’t played for ages) before buying. I assume there’s a minimum rental period and a delivery charge?
Important things to me…
– sound quality and depth. Nothing “fake” sounding. I know it won’t be perfect but as close as possible to acoustic is ideal.
– weight of the keys
– the look. I’d prefer black or white.
A mini grand is an option if it’s mini enough, otherwise upright. The bg2 looks good?
I need a stool too.
We live in Worcester so would be doing this blind, so appreciate help.
Reply/ Hi Sarah
The Broadway BG2 in white would fit nicely
in the corner of your room (blue line).
This piano feels and sounds close to the real thing,
as it has large speakers inside the piano and the
keys are wooden, which gives it the firm and
responsive feel like an acoustic grand piano.
The sound quality is more natural than a standard
digital piano due to its much larger acoustic box.
The minimum rental period is 12 months.
If you decide to buy it, then all 12 months rental
payments count towards the price.
Delivery with assembly (set up ready to play) is £299.
Assuming it’s going on the ground floor.
We have a good selection of new or used
piano stools – also available on rent-to-buy.
Please let me know if you would like to reserve
this piano.
Alternatively, we have a standard digital piano
in polished black.
This is the Yamaha CLP330PE
Or the Kurzweil MP120 in white
Just let me know if you have any questions.

Q/ Graham
I am in Poole and would like to rent a baby grand as from First week of September.
Could you advise me ?
Thx
Ross
R/ Hi Ross
We have the Classenti AG3 acoustic grand in polished ebony available.
See here: ukpianos.co.uk/classenti-ag3-grand-piano/
Measurements:
Length 186cm (6 feet 1 inch)
Width 150cm (59.1 inches)
This is about 10 inches longer than a standard baby grand.
The longer strings give the tone more depth and clarity.
It’s a lovely piano to play.
How long would you like it for, so I can quote you accordingly?
Yours pianistically
Graham Howard
“Do you rent to buy digital grands?”
I am looking for a rent to own baby digital grand piano for my daughter (aged 13 and grade 3)
and would like to check what options you currently have available.
Carla
Answer/ Hi Carla
The Broadway BG2 is the closest digital baby grand
to a traditional acoustic grand both in sound and feel.
out of all digital grands under £5000.
This BG2 has wooden keys (in fact it’s the only digital
grand around this price point that has)… so it feels
the same as a real, acoustic grand piano.
What’s more, the sound quality is superb. It has two,
large speakers built-in to its acoustic resonating box.
This gives it a deep, warm, resonant tone.
I recommend this piano for learning on right up to
the highest level.
You can see it here: Broadway BG2
As alternatives there are the Kurzweil digital grands:
KAG100 and MPG100.
The KAG100 has a really nice tone quality.
And its keys are fully-weighted, but the keys are not
as responsive as the Broadway BG2.
It’s also a very small (short) baby grand.
I recommend this up to grade 6 level.
The Kurzweil MPG100 is certainly worth considering.
This has a beautiful sound and fully-weighted keys.
It is a similar size to the Broadway BG2.
See here: Kurzweil MPG100
Any of the above are suitable for your daughter
to learn an progress on. They are also available
on the Rent to Buy programme.
You can see details and prices here:
ukpianos.co.uk/grand-pianos-for-rent
Let me know if you would like to reserve one of these
or have any questions.
We have them all in stock (only 2 left of the MPG100).
We also rent standard digital pianos.
Let me know if you would like a recommendation.
Kind regards
Graham Howard
