“I like the KAWAI CL25 as it has a bright tone and is easy to use. It doesn’t have too many confusing switches and knobs and the instructions for use are quite easy to follow. It is touch sensitive and comes with an effective pedal. It is really compact and does not take up much space ( very important in a house with three children). I like the feel of the keys and they respond well.
I hope to try and get the children interested in music and so far they have learned a few notes and tunes. I did pass grade 8 in piano about 20 years ago and have not owned a piano since. So for what I want it ticks all the boxes.
Some of the not so great things – it has a dust cover and not a slide over cover. The dust cover is fine – but just doesn’t look so good. With no sound, the notes do make an ‘airy’ noise when pressed and you are aware of this when it is on a low volume. I don’t think the quality of sound in the top and lower reaches is as good as the centre octaves, but this can also be the case in a traditional ‘normal ‘ piano.”
