1) “Looks Grand”

Hi Graham,

I got myself a Roland RP401-R from ukpianos. Prompt delivery,well packaged, undamaged. Out of the box and up in an hour…just looks grand…no pun intended.
Really interested in the piano tones, but clearly there is much to discover.

It’s early days, give me a month into using the Roland and I’ll know if I’ve made the right choice. There is a little concern I have on the lowest and highest octaves in piano mode , they seem slightly discordant but maybe it’s my ear….we will see.
I found your digital piano advice a real help in my decision making and compliment you on an excellent article.

2) “It was worth every penny”

UK Pianos really know their stuff, have a good range, are very, very helpful and well priced – what more can you ask.

We were searching for a replacement for ‘moth eaten’ (quite literally) upright and upon researching the best places to see and try pianos found the UK Pianos website. We signed up for Howard’s really useful guide and did quite a bit more research both on line and with piano experts of our acquaintance. Bearing in mind the space we had and our budget we determined that a digital piano would suit us best but which one?

In the Hertfordshire, North London area it doesn’t seem to be that easy see a range of digital pianos – except at UK Pianos. We made the 45 minute journey on a Saturday morning and, as promised, were able to park outside the shop. They have a really good range of all the pianos we wanted to try – Yamaha, Broadway, Classenti, Kurzweil and Roland. We were able to try them all out and both members of staff were most helpful. Finally we fell in love with the Roland PR401 – we felt the best sound, the best action and the nicest looking of everything we saw. It was right at the top end of our price bracket but worth every penny extra (we still think).

UK Piano’s were able to deliver later that week and for a reasonable price take away our old upright. We have been delighted with the experience all round. Thoroughly recommended.

4) “RP401r digital piano is exactly what I need!”

Fast delivery, packaged in good condition. The rp401 digital piano is exactly what I need! Looks beautiful, it has a warm sound and the key touch is very good!
I’m very happy with everything!
