Questions and Comments
Have you had any experience with the Suzuki SS-100 digital piano? We are
looking at one used on Craigslist for $340 US dollars. We are looking to
buy a used one for my son who is taking piano lessons. I read your E-book
regarding digital pianos but wanted to see if you knew anything specifically
regarding this model. I gather from your book that overall Suzuki does not
produce that great of a product.
Thanks
Jeff
Reply/ Hi Jeff
The Suzuki SS-100 is not a piano I recommend.
Although it has a compact cabinet and looks quite
stylish, and seems to be selling quite cheap, the
sound and especially the touch is not good enough
for long term playing.
You would be better off finding a secondhand
Yamaha YDP131 or Casio Privia piano.
My advice: keep searching… something better
always comes up!
Yours pianistically,
Graham Howard
