Yamaha CLP585 Reviews
1) “The sound quality and feel of the keys and pedals is amazing”
Ordering process : Very easy. Talked to Graham on telephone and placed order.
Delivery : Delivered on morning of day as arranged.
Installation : Very good. Installers just missed removing plastic covers off pedals and adjusting the support under the pedals.
Product : Yamaha CLP585 PE : I wanted a replacement for a traditional upright piano and the CLP585 is perfect.
The sound quality and feel of the keys and pedals is amazing. And it looks good too, fitting in well with my traditional furniture.

2) “I will be recommending the site to all my musician friends”
I have purchased a Yamaha CLP585 and will be recommending the site to all my musician friends – as the information enclosed was unique, informative and well presented.
It certainly would have made my purchasing decision much easier in retrospect.

“Have you assessed the new Yamaha CLP585?”
Hi Graham
I am interested in the Yamaha CLP585 which has been widely reviewed, but does not seem to be generally available until September!
Have you assessed this model yet, and have you given it your score?
If so, please forward to me, as the current score table returned from the UK Pianos website did not include it.
Thanks
Dave L.
Reply/ Hi Dave
I haven’t tested this piano thoroughly yet, because
we’re also waiting for our display model to arrive.
But I did spend some time playing it back in April.
The CLP585 has Yamaha’s new key action with
counter weights.
This is the only piano in the range that has this…
The counter weights make the keys feel more solid
under the fingers. You can control them more easily
and add more expression to your music.
The keys also react quicker which improves the
responsiveness and repetition.
I can’t comment on the sound yet, because I was
playing it in a noisy room, but with it’s new speaker
system and larger acoustic box, I would be surprised
if it wasn’t even better than the previous model.
There is a long waiting list for the new CLP585.
It’s proven to be more popular than Yamaha predicted.
Our next available shipment is at the end of September.
If you’d like to reserve one then please let me know.
Only a £50 deposit is needed.
Kind regards,
Graham Howard
