What our customers say…
“Hi Graham
Thanks for all your advice via the ukpianos website. I searched the web, came up with your site,
downloaded the “which pianos” guide and then I purchased online from your site a Yamaha CVP501.
It arrived next day, it works perfectly – a job well done. This is how internet shopping should be, thank you.”

I bought a Yamaha CVP 501 in rosewood approx 3 months ago from Bonners, however not only have I realised I don’t want all the features it offers but also it doesn’t really fit and is a bit of a nuisance due to size.

Questions and Comments
Hi Graham,
I’ll start explaining why i want to have an digital piano. I’m a student in Holland and i dont have any room for a real piano.
So for the next 8-10 years i want to buy a good reliable digital piano but afterwards i want to be able to play on a grand piano.
So the main function for the digital piano will be the ‘piano’ but i think ill have fun with the other functions and possibilities.
The CVP 401 i’ve seen cost € 1799,- and thats new from a store.
All the other pianos ive seen in the same priceclass just werent as good.
The problem for me is that i havent tested the CVP 401 yet, only the 501 in another store. The store said that they just had 1 CVP 401 left and they cant re-order it (because Yamaha dont produce it anymore). The first possibility for me to test is will be thursday, so i hope it isnt sold by then.
Another piano i was interested in was the Clavia Nord Stage but i dont like the idea of an digital piano without his own speakers.
Yours pianistically
Steven
Reply/ Hi Steven
The Yamaha CVP401 is discontinued and has been
replaced by the current model CVP501.
It appears to be the piano that best suits
your needs.
