Graham thanks very much for the excellent information.

We are very impressed by the Yamaha pianos especially the CVP range
and the Yamaha 605.
Our budget is nearer 2k than 3k but in that range. I wonder if we
might get best value with an end of range model around that price
and would welcome your suggestions.

Both tone and especially “mechanical” real piano feel is important
plus scope for midi in out for creative stuff.

We don’t have any end of range models.
In fact, the latest CVP range has only just
been released… so it’s unlikely they will
be updated for at least another 3 years.

I noted your budget is between 2k and 3k.
But if you could just stretch it to £3,999
then you can get the Yamaha CVP605.

The CVP605 is an outstanding piano. It rates
right up there with the very best digital
pianos. It has the same key touch as the
CLP480 (the best digital piano on the market)
and has an equally good sound as the CLP470.

There’s nothing else that comes close to it in
quality of sound, touch, features and technology.
