“Very poor”
Yamaha P140 stage piano. Bought from Octave in Dunstable – my local shop. I had planned to do more research before buying, but a crisis need arose as the result of a borrowed P140 having failed to work on the day of a concert.
Likes – excellent feel. Outstanding sound quality.
Dislikes – audio output too low for anything other than a small hall. Recording system is far too slow. Harpsicord sound
is too low in volume by comparison with piano. Sustaining pedal not fitted with anti-slip feet so it slips on polished
wooden and stone floors. Very poor instruction manual – it tells you how to do things without explaining why you are
doing them. It also provides no overview of features, so you can’t always appreciate what it can and can’t do without
spending hours working through the manual.
